Berry Oat Breakfast Smoothie

What to do with all that home-made yoghurt and milk kefir? Try this delicious, purple breakfast smoothie. A delicious breakfast treat, rich in vitamins, probiotic goodness and sugar-free. 

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of frozen berries

  • 1/2 cup of rolled oats

  • 1 cup of milk kefir or almond milk

  • 3 tbsp of honey

  • 1/2 cup of plain or greek yoghurt

  • 1/4 cup of ice

Method

  1. Place all the ingredients into your blender and pulse until the ice is broken, then blend till smooth and creamy.

  2. Taste and add more sugar if not sweet enough. If you prefer a more tart taste, add a squeeze of lemon juice.

  3. If too thick, add a little extra milk kefir.
